Rottweiler Pope

It is my sincerest hope that the new pope, Benedict the 16th, will not only show his teeth but will use them. It is time that Rome came down hard on the enablers and apologists in the Chuch in this country and cleaned house with some much needed defrockings.

The scandals that the Church has both endured and tried to cover-up have hurt not just the almighty collection basket, but has wounded each and every Catholic in this country.

It is not enough to forigive the sins and comfort the victims. It is time to actively participate in the prosecutions of all priests and educators who prey on the children in their parishes and schools. Defrock, excommunicate, and prosecute all of them. From the arch bishops who moved them from parish to parish, to the criminals themselves, be rid of them.

Do it now.

So the new Pope was found to be Catholic. Heh, Heh, Heh. I thought that was what excommunication was all about, weeding out the bad seed.

I like the guy because:
A) He pisses off liberals who wanted some mythical "Tolerant" Pope (preferably black) who would say it's ok for unmarrired catholics to screw their brains out, marry someone of the same sex, use abortion as birth control, and say gay marriage and priests getting married is A-ok.

B) He looks like an evil bastard. I know he's not, but seriously: the guy is one wardrobe change from being the epitome of a Sith Lord.

The day I see the Pope fry someone with force lightning is the day I convert to catholicism...
screw that, I'll join the priesthood :)

I, for one, am delighted to have a German Shephard! Don't you just love double entendres.

I like Pope Benedict XVI. He's a smart, tough guy, lots of people have underestimated him. They're in for a surprise.
